'This is a really exciting Amarone, where the riper, more overt notes of dried fruit play out into more floral nuances of tulips and rose petals; cedar, oregano and orange peel linger all the while. For all the decadence of the caramelized fruit on offer, the full-bodied palate is tightly constructed with magnificent, regal tannins, waltzing through a meandering line of persistent acidity.
